Splitting time between London and the Isle of Wight has enriched her creative focus.
Holly was lucky to grow up in a creative household here on the Island - Art and Design were a passion from a young age and pursuing photography as a career was a natural step
After studying Editorial Photography at Brighton Uni, she moved to London to work as a photographer’s assistant, (back when running film to the lab was a key part of the job!), finally braving branching out on her own as a freelance photographer 5 years later.
Now with 20 years’ experience in the industry shooting interiors, lifestyle, food and products for a wide range of clients, Holly loves her ‘job’.
“Whilst shoots used to take me all over the country, it’s now quite rare for me to jump on the ferry for work as I’ve built up a wonderfully loyal client base locally in the 10 years since returning home”.
Holly is equally happy shooting out-and-about on location, (we have some pretty special ones here), or back in her purpose-built studio surrounded by an ever growing collection of backgrounds and props.
With such a wealth of creativity and entrepreneurial spirit here on the Island, there are plenty of opportunities to work with inspiring brands and fellow small business owners.
